Each month I always ask where does the time go. Although, I never expect an answer, it’s still a question that just seems to repeat everyday. Another month has passed and all it’s done has left me standing in the middle of all the day-to-day routine wondering where all the hours went. Time is passing faster than I can believe most days, and I have to admit that sometimes it scares me. Life happens so quickly and I just don’t want to miss any of it.
May was a great month for progress on my current work-in-progress. I attended a local writing conference where I met and spoke with an agent and a publisher about the novel. I’m happy to report that both are interested and want the novel sent to them as soon as it’s finished. YAY!
Of course, with that, you can bet that I’ve been in “finish” mode ever since. In these talks, I also learned that the planned 120k-140k words for this novel is way too long for a Historical Romance or Historical Fiction. So with that, I’ve decided to spilt the novel into two books: Through the Eyes of Captive and Through the Eyes of a Lakota. I have yet to split up the book blurb, but will post them as soon as I do.
