Season Six
Episode One Hundred Twenty-Five: “Bridesmaids Revisited”
Original Airdate: February 28, 2006
One couple joined, one couple separated. When Rory helps Honor prepare for her wedding, she learns that Logan wasn’t spending their time apart in celibate longing. Zach wows the diner patrons with proclamation.
So, I’m torn with the whole Logan slept with someone thing. And you know what it reminds me of . . .
I know. I know. Totally different show. But still same concept. Although, Ross and Rachel had like just broken up. That same friggin’ night. Ross had no excuse.
Moving on before I turn this into a Friends Project (ooh, that’s an idea) let’s get back to Gilmore Girls. I feel bad for Rory and I understand why she was so angry. To break up with Logan over it, though, I don’t know. Like if she hadn’t ever found out then it would have been no big deal.
Of course, that’s not the biggest news in this episode because . . .
LANE AND ZACK ARE ENGAGED!
And OMGoodness. I would have come unglued on Christopher and Gigi for all the things she did. Especially writing in permanent ink on my newly remodeled hardwood floor. Ugh. But that’s par for Christopher’s course. Always the one who just can’t hack in real life for some reason. He’s always got to mess things up.
The only real fun part about this episode (aside from Lane and Zack) was the scene with Rory and Doyle drunk.
Funny Quotes:
RORY: Fine. [walks away from Paris] That was unpleasant.
DOYLE: Try sleeping with her.
RORY: I’ll take your word for it.
DOYLE: No, it’s impossible because she doesn’t sleep anymore. She makes damn sure I don’t, either. Last night she decided it would be fun to watch “Saw II” at 3:00 in the morning. Then when I woke up and asked her if she could turn it down, she berated me for being a film snob.
RORY: How are you handling it?
DOYLE: I believe the term for it is “keeping my mouth shut.”
