A bit of shameless promotion here for a dear friend and her amazing new business! My dad has been bugging me to start testing marshmallow recipes for him. He will be opening his own coffee shop and wanted something for a little extra for the kids and a little treat for sit in customers. So now that we are getting better timelines for opening I decided to start making them! Finally I did. And it was like a smack to the face. I was loving it. Not just liking it like I was expecting. I LOVED it. So I have decided to pursue opening my own small business! Thank you so much for taking the time to explore my little shop!”

  1. Oh my. Yummy. My husband ordered me gourmet marshmallows for my birthday once. My favorite was the dark chocolate with a hint of hot pepper. Good luck with this business. Sounds fantastic.

    1. I’ll have to pass on the flavor suggestion to my friend. I’m not much of a marshmallow person, but these were amazing. She’s got a bunch of cute ones for the 4th of July coming up. I can’t wait to see the Christmas ones. Lol

      1. Oh, I didn’t mean to suggest anything. Just sharing my experience. Unfortunately, marshmallows are a no-no for me. 😦

      2. No, I know. I will still pass it on, though, because it sounds like a very interesting flavor that might just boost her business. She does have dreams of expanding into different flavors, like coffee and fruity flavors. 🙂

    1. Right now they aren’t, but she’s hoping to get them there soon. The problem is the supplies to make them vegan are ridiculously more expensive and since she’s just starting out, she doesn’t have the money built up just yet. But it is her goal to have them soon. Her father wants them for a coffee shop he’s opening, which will happen in the next 6 months. Once that does, her income will be enough for her to expand more.
