As the Liquor Flows Red no shadowWell, folks, here it is!

The cover for As the Liquor Flows!!

I have to say that this cover is probably my favorite. And, not because I did it myself (yes, you read that correctly, I made this cover myself), but I just LOVE the picture.

When I was searching for the right image, I had about sixty saved in my lightbox on Shutterstock.

None of them were “perfect”. Sure, there were ones that fit and looked nice, but none of them were just “oh that’s it, hands down, that’s the ONE!”

And, then I saw this one and I about fell out of my chair.

As the Liquor Flows is set to release March 25, 2016 and I can’t wait!!

Black Tuesday, October 29, 1929, the day the stock market crashed, and the day Evelyn Ford will never forget.

With the untimely death of her parents and the loss of their only income, Evelyn, and her brother, Frank flee to a make-shift hovel built in Central Park.

After Frank mysteriously goes missing, bare cupboards force Evelyn to seek employment anywhere she can find work—even if that means working at a burlesque theater.

Catching the attention of Don Vincent Giovanni, a Kingpin in the New York mafia, Evelyn discovers that Frank is serving time in prison for running hooch. And, that he owes Vincent a lot of money. To pay off her brother’s debt, Evenly is thrust into the world of mobsters and bootlegging.

Soon, Evelyn finds herself drawn to Max Catalano, Vincent’s Consigliere, and between running  of alcohol all over the city of New York and trying to free her brother, Evelyn entangles herself, not only in a web of lies, but in the middle of the New York mafia crime wars.

  1. I have to agree, it’s a striking cover. I would not walk past that in the bookstore without reading further. I like bourbon, piano, and classy ladies. And, the write up has me intrigued. Homerun for me 😀
