Homemade Ranch Dressing #RecipeOfTheDay #recipe #momlife #homemade

20150331_120943This is a very simple, and yet, delicious recipe for homemade ranch dressing. It can be modified if you would like it to have less dill or more dill and can be transformed into a perfect Blue Cheese dressing if you add in Blue Cheese crumbles.
1 clove of minced Garlic

1/4 teaspoon of Salt

1 cup of Mayonnaise

1/2 cup of Sour Cream

1/4 cup minced of Parsley

1 tablespoons of minced Dill

1 tablespoon of minced Chives

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon white vinegar

1/4 teaspoon of Paprika

1/4 cup of milk

Ranch dressing can be made in the container you wish to store it in or a mixing bowl. Mince all of the herbs and garlic, throw into bowl. Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, white vinegar, and paprika. Stir in milk, and you’re done! Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

    1. Thanks Anne! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I got the main recipe from The Pioneer Woman, so it’s really hers, I just modified it a bit. I watched an episode yesterday where she took the same recipe, but substituted the dill for basil and added a couple of tablespoons of parmesan cheese for an Italian dressing. I’m going to try that next time.
